Kosta founded HK Contracting in 2013. He is growing and leading the team to be a reputable construction company in Design and Build, and restoration services in the commercial and residential sector in Ontario. His career spans for over 25 years in construction and entrepreneurship. He started his experience with custom home building, to restorations services, and now Design and Build construction management. He has overseen thousands of projects from conception to completion. Kosta is fully licensed and nationally certified through the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). He is committed to establishing long lasting relationships with his clients, and wants to ensure longevity of his company through repeat and referral business achieved through the highest level of professionalism and quality construction services. He takes pride in creating a positive working environment, and strives for ensuring his team's success.

Helen co-founded HK Contracting in 2013 with Kosta Mentis. She manages daily operations, establishes valued client relations, and implements company policies and programs. With a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry and skilled operations management, Helen oversees all business operational and tactical aspects to ensure we have effective and talented individuals working as a team. Through her teaching education and background, Helen is the Health and Safety Officer that manages the development of the Policies and Procedures of our Health and Safety Program. She ensures that all staff and subs are fully trained and compliant with rules and regulations. Helen also takes a lead role as our in-house real estate representative.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
David is the Chief Financial Officer for HK Contracting. He has over 25 years of experience in this role for various companies in the Food Industry. David has built strong private accounting experience that encompasses a variety of industries including construction. He strongly believes in building teams that work together to meet deadlines and accomplish company goals. Since joining HK Contracting, David has brought his skills as a good communicator, a sound understanding of finance and a proven record of developing people.

Lorena is the administrative manager that supervises day-to-day operations of the team members and ensures that daily office operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner. Lorena earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2013, and a Master’s in Science in Economics in 2017. Since joining the HK Contracting team, Lorena has acquired great experience in contracts and office management. Lorena always seeking to develop and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Gustavo is a Senior Project Manager that works on projects from preliminary estimating to contract negotiation, and the full construction cycle. He has obtained a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineer and a Construction Manager Certificate. As an experienced Project Manager with more than 10 years of experience, Gustavo has worked in large infrastructure projects for multinational companies’ building railways, roadways, and bridges. Gustavo is fully committed to HKC to ensure all his projects include fair market price take offs, high quality standard workmanship that follow safe and sustainable practices.
QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

Mayke is the quality control coordinator and project manager for HKC. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Civil Engineering and Construction Management, and Customer Service and Quality Engineering Management Certificate. Mayke is responsible for managing and coordinating projects to ensure time control, cost, quality, and risks on all projects.
SITE MANAGER / ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Wilbert is an experienced construction professional with a Construction Management Certificate, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer and a Technology Foundations Certification. Wilbert has a solid background in both residential and commercial construction projects including shopping centers, warehouses and roadworks. As site manager at HK Contracting, Wilbert has proven ability to oversee our projects and maintain customer satisfaction while keeping the workmanship to the highest quality.

As a Senior Project Manager, Andrea brings to HKC her experience of years working in the Construction field. Holding a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Construction Manager certificate in Ontario, Andrea has worked as Estimator for reputable companies in Brazil and is now part of HK Contracting’s Project Managers’ team. She plays an important role in team by estimating costs, developing budgets, and overseeing/monitoring jobs’ progress.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Construction Management Post Graduation Certificate, Jose has procurement and cost estimates experience with a background in light weight systems, concrete and metallic construction for industrial and commercial building projects. At HK Contracting as Cost Estimator, Jose is responsible for estimating time, material and labor costs, and developing budgets to build our projects using the most cost-effective method.
